Driven Prospects With Solid Summers

Ryan Del Monte

​

Ryan Del Monte was drafted 24th overall by the Barrie Colts. He went on to sign this summer with Barrie, he is expected to be a big part of their young core moving forward.

 

Ryan played his Minor Midget season with the Toronto Young Nats, where he continued to put up strong numbers, and captured the Top Prospect Game Player of the Game.

 

Ryan was also selected for Team Canada’s camp this summer in Calgary. Ryan hopes to start the season strong with Barrie and earn his way onto Team Canada for the Under 17 Challenge in November.

Phil Daoust

​

Phil Daoust played last year in the Northern Jr A league, as a rookie he put up 56 points and earned himself invites to 3 OHL camps and 4 QMJHL camps.

 

Phil chose to go to Moncton’s camp and after a solid camp, he earned himself a contract with the team. During his second game with Moncton, Daoust had a hat trick and is working hard to continue his early success in Major Junior Hockey.

Aidan Spooner

​

Aidan Spooner was drafted first overall in the Midget draft by Kingston. Aidan had a great summer and worked himself into a contract with Kingston this season.

 

Spooner is a gifted goalie who moves well and continues to improve every day. Playing big minutes in Junior this season will only help continued development and better ready him for the jump to Major Junior hockey.

Charlie Da Fonseca

​

Charlie Da Fonseca was originally drafted by Flint in the OHL. He played last season in the OJHL with Stouffville putting up strong numbers in his rookie season. After a good first junior season, he ended up with multiple offers for OHL camps and QMJHL camps.

After careful consideration, Charlie chose to go to Drummondville. At camp, Charlie proved himself as a capable and dedicated player, in turn, the team offered him a contract.

Charlie’s speed and skill shows he is ready for a breakout season.

Marko Sikic

​

Marko Sikic was drafted in the 3rd round to the Guelph Storm this past OHL draft. Prior to drafted Sikic was the captain of his Minor Midget team the ‘Kitchener Rangers’ and lead his team to the OHL Cup. Sikic also participated in the Gold Cup for Team Alliance where he again showed his size and strength and performed well.

After a summer of hard work and a great camp with the Storm, Sikic was offered a contract with the team. Marko is a big center with elite hockey sense and he is set for a strong rookie season in the OHL.

Chas Sharpe

​

Chas Sharpe was drafted in the 3rd round of the OHL draft, by the Mississauga Steelheads. Chas had a good season with his North Central Predators, where he helped lead the team’s Power Play all season by putting up good numbers and also playing strong physically.

After a long season and a big summer, Chas showed strength in camp and earned himself a contract with his OHL club.
